We've been so busy lately with Spring break, traveling, Easter, etc. I just realized it's been almost a month since I've been able to post any of the Bates happenings. We were able to take the kids to a local Easter egg hunt the weekend before Easter. It was simple, the kids had fun, and it wasn't nearly as cold as if we tried to go out Easter weekend. I'm so glad we got at least one egg hunt in before winter came back to haunt us! I just want spring here! We spent Easter weekend in Ohio with my parents. We had a good time, but poor Halley was sick the whole time. We still were able to meet up with my best friend Kristina & her family at Cosi (Columbus Science Center), but we were those horrible parents exposing our sick kid to everyone. She cried and pleaded for us not to leave her behind...I just couldn't let her down. She barely got out of the stroller anyway, but she was a trooper! We also took the kids to see "Meet the Robinsons"-Collin's reward for a great report card. We are so proud of him--not just for his academic achievments, but because we know that he lets Jesus' light shine through him everyday. He is such a happy and loving little boy--who by the way will be 7 on Monday! I'm sure I'll be posting some birthday pictures next week, so don't forget to check in!

It's so great to see how big the kids are getting. I can hardly believe what a little man Collin is. It seems just yesterday he was a baby! I LOVE Halley's room...it's precious! Enjoy the girl time with your house full of boys! We love you guys!
